The New York Times has learned that NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” has agreed to postpone the premiere of its season 4 premiere to March 28, which is the date of the premiere game show.
The show is scheduled to air on NBC on March 27.
The show has already faced criticism over the season premiere, which featured a joke about “white privilege” and featured an actress with an apparent “black face” in a tuxedo.
In addition, “SNL” has faced criticism in recent months for its decision to schedule a season 3 episode earlier than its previous one.
The season 4 episode is set for March 8, but will be delayed until March 28.
The episode will air before “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” which are scheduled to premiere on March 22.
The season 4 finale will air on March 28 at 9 p.m. EST.
